Use QUICK*Locate to direct customers to your nearest dealer's location quickly and easily using a ZIP Code or telephone number.
Handles An Unlimited Number Of Locations!
You can adapt these location files to fit your particular needs. For example, you can establish separate files for service, sales and distributor locations.
Once the information is on your screen, you can give your caller the address and phone
number of the nearest dealer.
Works With dBase Files Directly!
QUICK*Locate works with dBase files directly and can import ASCII fixed-length files. This means you can use your existing files to get started without re-keying a single record. If you have ASCII comma-delimited files, use our conversion program to convert them into a dBase format with a single command.
QUICK*Locate can add up to eight lines of supplemental information to each location. You might add the locations phone number, Service Managers name or driving directions. You can include additional information that you may need.
Once you're up and running, you can make changes to your location file with QUICK*Locates built-in editor. Locations can be added, deleted or revised with ease.
Nearest Location Index
Attention Programmers! You can use QUICK*Locate to generate a special index database for use with your own custom programs. QUICK*Locate uses your location file and its built-in ZIP Code longitude & latitude coordinates to determine which of your locations is closest to every ZIP Code in the country. It stores the ZIP Code and the record number of your closest location in an index file. All distance calculations are done for you. You can also generate a special index database of every telephone Area Code+Prefix in the country. It works just like the ZIP Code index except it is based on phone numbers. Complete instructions are included in the Users Manual. Everything from loading your location files to using the index database is explained in detail.
Distance Look Ups
QUICK*Locate is more than a nearest location finder. You can display the distance in air miles between any two ZIP Codes, cities or phone numbers in the country.
